I first met Tom while we were working on Robin Gibb's "Wall Have Eyes" album. He quickly befriended me as we both had a love/hate relationship with the Linn 9000. Tom was the consummate professional and would take the entire crew for supper every evening at the Roney Plaza where he would regale us with stories from his amazing career. One of the best parts was being able to ask questions. He was always humble and would answer our questions with the best stories that I've ever heard. He was the producer's producer and the engineer's engineer. He's sorely missed in this industry that I've grown up in.
