As for me I’ve done many sound consultant jobs (some credited but many others not)

The MM1000 was great in its time but the daily alignment was a pain in the butt

Studer A827 was the precision watch at the end of the era. 15 ips Dolby SR or 30 ips no noise reduction but equalize the head bumps.
