When Roy came to San Francisco in the 70’s to open up a new Columbia studio, I had the pleasure of meeting him, and actually house sittted for him at his house in Marin in tiburon. I was the son in law of another recording engineer Roy segal., they were friends that’s how I got the job. I was a dental student at the time, in San Francisco . I was there in the studio the day he first listened to billy Joel’s first album, and his first comment was “ this guy is going to be a big star someday” man Roy were you right . Hope all is well, and thanks for the music and the memories.
