Jimi Did not return to the Electric Lady to record the next day. He and Eric Barret left the Opening Party well before it ended and left directly to the Airport. John McDermott and others can confirm this. I was an Assistant at EL at the time and spoke with Both Eric and Jimi as they went up the stairs go get in the Limo.
