I Had The Privilege Of Working With Eric Shilling At Our Studio Many Times During His Rise To Fame In The Miami Recording Studio Heyday. & Would Like To Contact Him About The Miami Sound Machine “Conga” Recording.

I Remember One Night We Recorded A Timbales Track In Our Custom Designed Plaster Walled Echo Chamber Room For A Client Who I Don’t Remember The Name. The Player Was Amazing And I Recollect That It May Have Only Taken 1 Take To Nail It.

Some Time Later On, I Remember Hearing A Rumor That The 24 Track Master Tape Was Eventually Sold To The Estefan’s, And That The Basic Tracks Were Used For The Song “Conga”.

Moving Forward,.. To This Day Every Time I Hear The Song Being Played, When The Timbales Solo Comes In, I Believe That I’m Listening ToThe Distinct Sound Of Our Echo Chamber.

I Believe That Eric Could Prove, Or Disprove This Ancient Memory That Has Nagged Me For Many Years, But Not Being Connected To Social Media, I Don’t Know How To Forward This Question To Him.
