Hey, Bob, hope you're doing well. Half expected you to be playing at my 50th HS reunion last year! Was hard to learn of Warren's passing. Will always remember the days at The Sandpiper, and how great the Super Suds were, and yes, I well remember "Valerie" , and the one great line, " I hear you got a job at a Doctor's Office....Making people sick." Are you still playing out?. I get back to LI infrequently in my business as a Marine professional and always, it is pleasantly nostalgic. I miss the LI music scene. Stay well.

Friends from the neighborhood by: James (JEFF) Flammer
Hi Bob,
Jeff Flammer here from the old neighborhood. I was with brother Lee and sister Jackie listening to the old songs we loved and the song Valerie came on and we all looked at each other and said " Bob columbe" at the same time. You cried in the song much better. We all grew up with Mad Mike and then the Super Suds and have great memories of the band and all it's members.
I started with memories of fishing the bay with you and your father and ended with us banging on the drums in the front porch for hours. I have fond memories of the band and your family. Hope the band is still around and will try to locate where your playing on my next trip to Long Island.
Note; Say hello to Little Egypt, I know she won't remember me.

Band time periods... by: Chris Juried
Hi Bob,
What was the time period in which "MAD MIKE & THE MANIACS" spanned from start to beginning? Any history on both "MAD MIKE & THE MANIACS" and The Super Suds of Rhythm is very much appreciated.
Best,
Chris

Tapes by: Chris Juried
Hi Bob,
I have the tapes you are referring to, 20 feet from my current location. I was listening to a couple of these tapes, last week, in preparation for transfers. Any content you wish to share will be very much appreciated!
Sincerely,
Chris Juried
